Perfect tense

1. Simple Perfect Tense

function : Used for describing a past action's effect on the present

formula:

Positif          : S + have/has + V3

Negatif        : S + have/sas Not + V3

introgative   :   Have/has + S + V3

2. Past Perfect Tense

function : Used to describe an action or an event that started in certain time in the past and completed till certain time in the past too.

Positif       : S + had + V3

Negatif      : S + had + not + V3

introgative : Had + S + V3

 Examples:

-I had not studied hard, so I didn’t make good result. (Past Perfect Tense)

-You had not told me that, that’s why I didn’t understand. (Past Perfect Tense)

- I have eaten a hotdog. (Simple Perfect Tense)
